Firm Overview

Serving the legal needs of the residents of Miami, South Florida and beyond in matters related to Personal Injury, Business Law, Intellectual Property Law, Criminal Defense, DUI, and Traffic Violations

For nearly two decades, Troy & Schwartz, LLC, has represented individuals and business entities in Miami and South Florida as well as throughout the State of Florida in legal matters involving Personal Injury Law, Business Law, Criminal Defense, and Traffic Violations. Troy and Schwartz has also represented individuals from the Caribbean, South America, England, and Canada because their legal matters originated in the State of Florida. The firm now also provides legal services related to Intellectual Property Law through attorney Susan Dierenfeldt-Troy.

At Troy and Schwartz, the attorneys, paralegal, and legal assistants — the entire legal team — are committed to providing vigorous representation to clients. We care about each and every one of our clients. We want to give you as much mental ease as possible during our trip together. We will meet with you and truly listen to your ideas and concerns. We maintain a policy of accessibility and are always here to talk to you. Anything that you tell us is kept in complete confidence. We will make sure that you are aware of your legal rights and will do everything we can to ensure you are fully prepared to deal with your case. Throughout our entire legal journey, we’ll discuss and explain all dimensions of your case, including the time element.

We recognize that our legal system is an adversarial one, and we will treat your case as if we are going into battle on your behalf. We will prepare you fully for depositions and — in a later state — to be a witness in your case. We will find expert witnesses to testify for you. We will keep you informed about the details of your case and make sure that you keep us informed so that there will be no surprises.

In addition to representing clients in actual legal disputes, we also provide extensive legal services related to transactional matters in the areas of business and intellectual property law. Examples of transactional matters include drafting legal documents for use by a business (e.g., supplier agreements, shareholder agreements, commercial lease agreements, and documents related to the sale/purchase of a business) and obtaining protection of intellectual property rights through the drafting and filing of trademark applications and patent applications before the United States Patent & Trademark Office. From prosecuting both patent and trademark applications to drafting and negotiating complex business contracts, our goal is to help businesses thrive, and at the same time, help reduce the possibility of costly legal problems down the road.

We are here to serve your legal needs.  If you believe you have a matter which may require legal representation in one of the above areas of the law, call us at (305) 279-4740 or contact us online for a FREE consultation.  It will be our privilege to speak to you about your potential legal need(s).
